Abetta Couriers has been the proud sponsors of Botany Bay Cricket Club for the past 3 years and with their track record of late, there is no reason not to be proud of them. Botany Bay has transformed over the last five years through the implementation of an ambitious development plan. The 1st XI have won three back-to-back championships in 2010, 2011 and 2012 and then last year even with the fact that they were undefeated, they finished runners due to points difference and rain interferences. With the team playing such phenomenal cricket, it is no surprise to see them being promoted yet again and this season they find themselves in Division 1. It’s not all about the 1st XI though, their 2nd and 3rd XI have also been promoted in recent seasons and the colts teams have never been stronger. The Director of Abetta Couriers Matthew Sutcliffe is still able to find time in his busy schedule to manage and coach most of the Botany Bay colts teams. The club realise that the colts are the future and that is why they have exceptional coaching staff, who are dedicated and happy to help boys and girls of all abilities and ages to develop their skills to the best of their ability.
